me: learned last night i have two winter coats and neither are terribly warm
ex: not surprising
me: yep
ex: you need a peacoat
me: YOU NEED A PEACOAT

ex: this is I guess what I do now: pine for impossible women
me: look man, i want a white winter coat but that would be a disaster. we can't always get what we want. sometimes life would ruin it anyway
ex: I want to say that the white coat analogy somehow hit home before we move on
ex: even though it's a you-centric analogy, the fact that I understand the depth of meaning behind your desire for a white jacket means it meant a lot to me.
me: we're good like that

me: but then by the end of the dialogue i'm like
me: "i am a melted meat monster stuffed into some jessica simpson shoes why does anyone let me out of the house???"
